Looking back through the years of all my travels on this site feels really nostalgic. I’ve had this domain since 2005 and given it up for the last two years. The popularity of Art of Backpacking picked up and I saw no reason to blog on here anymore. Any travel stories were simply published on Art of Backpacking instead of here. I even started converting my old articles to over there. I re-wrote my horribly written articles. Since writing on DjSkylab.com was my first attempt at travel writing, the articles were horribly written. I’m actually embarrassed. So much that I decided to make all my articles on this site private. They need some serious editing. Many of the pictures that were posted here don’t work anymore either. I’ll put republish the articles with their original dates when I get the chance to look through them and organize it all better.
